FAQ – Justac 10th Anniversary: Awakening of the Ancients

Why has damage in Elite equipment increased so much?

We wanted to raise the general offensive power on the server. Each class benefits from it, and it should not damage the power balance of classes.

What has changed in the balance of classes?

Due to the rise of general offensive power on the server, we halted major detailed changes for any class to see how the situation would develop.
One exception is the Swashbuckler class, where movement speed was reduced by 30% due to an increase in damage and the possibility of upgrading the dagger weapon type with the new Justac Forge mechanic. We wanted to keep Swashbuckler's iconic anti-slow, so we chose to reduce its movement speed to keep the class balanced.

Why is there no potion drop in the Shinewood area, and how can I sustain my potions?

We have decided that we want to generate an additional loop in the game economy for those potions by not adding them to generic monster drops in Shinewood. The main source of these potions is Chaotic Frontier Worlds, where any player can enter and farm.

Where are the Events?

Events will be published in a few days.

Why is there nothing to help new or returning players?
Why is the Justac server so hard to play?

Answers to those questions will not be easy and will contain a bit of game history, the game design process, and the point of view of the Justac team.

First of all, new or returning players have all the resources needed from level 1, in the form of Gifts for level from event NPCs in every city. Not only that, but a major change is the whole in-game economy, which is based on easily obtained items like Archondrites, which you can farm everywhere. Since the expansion Justac 10th Anniversary: Awakening of the Ancients, you can easily combine Archondrites drops with drops of potions in Chaotic Frontier Worlds, and that can boost your income greatly. Additionally, the Justac server allows multiple accounts, so making other class characters that share power with your main character is also a great boost.

We admit that our Justac server, compared to the past Archlord game, is harder to play. Itemization and possibility of character upgrade is greatly extended and by that much more expensive which time spent in game to progress the character. All of that wasn't a random guess or money grab; it was designed to be that, especially for one reason and one reason only: to keep cheaters away from our server. We are done with all cheaters in this game, and we will never allow cheats to come back to Justac in any form. And since our design was released, the number of cheating attempts has declined by 99% since it’s too expensive for people to risk their accounts. Our anti-cheat policy is ironclad, and no amount of donation will change its outcome. In a parallel world, if cheats didn't exist, we would make our design much more progress-friendly, but sadly, even after all those years, a big part of the Archlord community still uses cheats, abutments, and glitches.

To not end with such a grim tone, we would like to thank all our players for being with us for so many years and supporting us through good and bad times. You are a very passionate community that deserves the great game that we are creating together.
