As you may understand now, Swashbuckler is an absolute monster of versatility. Just like any other class it has strong & weak points.. And of course, pros & cons.

Swashbuckler's strong & weak points

Overall, Swashbuckler is interesting because her gameplay is very different from the rest. The class is not only about buffing/debuffing, but also about optimizing combos to make the most out of your character.
It is very strong at surviving since it has slow/stun immune and quite a lot of defensive stats out of the buffing part.

Yet, your resistance & elemental resistance are quite low (even if you optimize them with your equipment, it’s honestly never enough). This makes you very sensitive to classes like Archer or Orbiter who take away a lot of elemental resistance from you.

Pros & Cons of playing a swashbuckler

When it comes to the pros of playing a Swash, there are plenty:

It’s a very versatile class

There isn’t only “one way” to play it

It’s quite challenging and has some unique gameplay features (Comboing skills together to boost them)

You can play pretty much all the content of the game and switch from a build to another.

When it comes to the cons of playing a Swash:

It’s clearly not a good farmer (Mana issues/Lack of damage)

Depending on the way you want to play it, the optimization may take a while

Depending on the classes you go against, you may rely a lot on your team

The class itself is very hard to master and requires constant focus.
