Windows security > App & browser control > Reputation-based protection > Turn on: Potentially unwanted app blocking > Check the boxes for Block apps & Block downloads if not already checked.

there are some ppl (mostly located in UK) have this issue atm.
no clue so far what it is causing.

This is mainly because the system firewall or other anti-virus software removes certain DLL files when the game is updated.

Re-download the game. Before updating the game, turn off Windows Firewall, Anti-Virus Software, etc.
