Game Discussion / Re: Occasional Server Anniversary Survey

1.I've been playing Archlord since 2007, starting with Episode 3. I’ve been following the game’s journey and have seen its evolution over the years. It’s always been a unique MMO for me because of its mix of PvP, PvE, and character development.

2. I’ve been playing on your server since the begin with some breaks over the years. I joined because of a fFriend who told me about the game. I’ve enjoyed my time here and appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a smooth experience for the players.

3. Yes, I’ve played a number of MMOs similar to Archlord, such as World of Warcraft etc.. Each has its own unique features, but Archlord stands out to me because of its open-world PvP, its emphasis on faction battles, and the feeling of having a meaningful impact in the game world.

4.Definitely! If a new game inspired by Archlord were to be developed, I would be interested in playing it. The game’s combination of PvP, character progression, and faction rivalry was very engaging, so I’d love to see how that could evolve with new technologies and ideas. As long as it kept the spirit of the original intact, I’d be on board.

5.My first class was a Archer, mainly because he looked the best xD. Over time, though, my favorite class still was the Archer because whether it’s the combat mechanics, the role it plays in group activities, and the skill effects.

6.I think Sorc is the most balanced, as it has a good mix of offensive and defensive capabilities, allowing for flexibility in different situations. On the other hand, I feel that Scions could use some adjustments. It seems to either be too powerful in certain areas or not effective enough in others, making it harder to perform consistently in both PvP and PvE.

7. I’d definitely be open to a mobile version of Archlord, especially if it retained the core mechanics and the feeling of the original game. The controls would need to be intuitive for mobile, but I think it could offer a great way to experience Archlord on the go. I would still prefer a PC version for complex PvP and large-scale events, though.

8. I’m a bit of a hybrid player. I enjoy the strategic aspect of PvE content like raids and boss fights, but I also love the thrill and challenge of PvP. Both are equally important to me because they offer different kinds of satisfaction: PvE for progression and team play, PvP for testing my skills and competing against others.

9. I would rate the economy a 6. The market has a lot of potential, but there are certain imbalances or areas where supply and demand could be better managed. However, there are plenty of ways to earn in-game currency, and players can get creative with trade.

10. I’d give it a 7. While some equipment is easier to obtain through PvE or events, certain high-tier gear can be quite rare or difficult to obtain without significant investment of time. However, the drop rates and crafting systems are fair compared to many other games.

11. I’d rate group fight balance at 7. Generally, group dynamics can be quite satisfying, but I feel some classes are either too strong or too weak in large-scale PvP. A little tweaking here and there could ensure that all classes feel relevant in group content.

12. I would rate the ease of play for a new player at 3. Archlord has a bit of a steep learning curve, especially with the complex class systems and PvP mechanics. However, once you understand the basics, it’s very rewarding. Some tutorials or Events could make the experience smoother for new players.

13. I’d give it a 8. The in-store purchases are relatively balanced compared to other MMOs, though there is a temptation to spend on cosmetics and convenience items. The game still offers a lot without spending money, which I appreciate.

14. I’d rate it at 7. The changes implemented by Justac have been generally positive, improving quality of life, balancing, and bug fixes. That said, some players may miss aspects of the original game, but overall, I think Justac has managed to preserve the spirit of Archlord while making necessary improvements.

15. I would rate the Helpdesk at 9. The support team is usually quick to respond and helpful, but there could be times when resolution takes a little longer, especially for more complex issues. Overall, I’m satisfied with the help I’ve received.

16.I think an official Discord channel would be a great addition to the community. It would allow for quicker, real-time interaction, and it’s an easy way to reach out to both the development team and other players. Forums are great for more in-depth discussions, but Discord would be perfect for announcements, events, and casual conversation.
