change Ancient Shard so that it does not alter statuses that are at maximum!!!

That's not a good idea. Making 5 stats gear is supposed to be rough, if you alter the possibility of sharding to specificaly target non-maxed stats, you'll just ruin the already suffering market, as tools will have litteraly no more value at all.

100% true, you take the risk or you dont just not remove that risk from existing
